This study, developed within a line of research focused on motor development, aimed to determine the influence of motor stories on the development of gross motor skills in 4-year-old children at the Carlos Showing Ferrari Educational Institution. To achieve this objective, an applied research approach was used, with a quantitative approach, an explanatory level, and a pre-experimental variant design with a single- group pre-test/post-test. For the development of the research, the population consisted of 84 children, and a sample of 18 4-year-old boys and girls from the Carlos Showing Ferrari Educational Institution were selected through purposive non-probability sampling at the researcher's discretion. Observational techniques were also used, along with a 16-item observation guide as an instrument. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data analysis. According to the results obtained, before the implementation of motor stories, 62.96% of the students were on the "never" rating scale. Based on these results, the motor stories were applied with 16 learning sessions. The results indicated that 66.67% of the students managed to reach the "always" rating scale, demonstrating a significant improvement with respect to the study variable. This was corroborated by the Shapiro-Wilk hypothesis test, p-value = 0.00, which determined that the alternative hypothesis of the study was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected, indicating that motor stories do indeed significantly influence the development of gross motor skills in 4-year-old children at the "Carlos Showing Ferrari" educational institution.
TALLER DE “EJERCICIOS MOTRICES” EN EL DESARROLLO DE LA CAPACIDAD COMPRENDE SU CUERPO EN ESTUDIANTES DEL 1° A DE EDUCACIÓN SECUNDARIA DE LA INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA PILLCO MOZO, HUÁNUCO – 2025

This research project was contextualized within the educational need to strengthen the holistic development of adolescents, specifically addressing the problem of deficient development of body schema and motor skills observed in schools in Huánuco. The general objective was to determine the influence of a motor exercise program on the development of the ability to "understand their body" in first-year secondary school students (grade A) at the Pillco Mozo Educational Institution during the year 2025. Regarding the methodology, the study was framed within applied research, achieving an explanatory level with a quantitative approach. A pre-experimental, longitudinal design was adopted, which included the application of a motor exercise workshop. The population consisted of 45 students, and the census sample comprised 22 students from first-year grade A. Direct observation was used as the data collection technique, and a validated checklist was used as the data collection instrument. The main diagnostic findings revealed a low level of performance in the bodily, motor, and perceptual dimensions, characterized by limitations in coordination and balance. This assertion is supported by the hypothesis test, with a p-value of 0.00, which is less than 0.005. It was concluded that intervention through planned motor exercises significantly influences the improvement of body awareness, validating the importance of targeted pedagogical approaches to reverse sedentary behavior in schools.
PROGRAMA EJERCICIOS PLIOMÉTRICOS EN LA MEJORA DEL ESTILO CROL EN ESTUDIANTES DEL 5°B DE SECUNDARIA EN LA INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA JULIO ARMANDO RUIZ VASQUEZ AMARILIS - 2025

The essential objective of this research was to determine the effectiveness of a plyometric exercise program in improving the front crawl stroke among 5th-grade "B" secondary students at the Julio Armando Ruiz Vásquez Educational Institution in Amarilis – 2025. The front crawl stroke is a coordinated action of the arms, legs, and trunk aimed at achieving the maximum displacement speed of the athlete through the water. This style is divided into four phases: displacement, pull, push, and recovery. Each sporting gesture is determined by the activity of the primary motor muscles; in every movement, the swimmer develops the deltoids, rhomboids, trapezius, triceps brachii, biceps brachii, flexor carpi ulnaris, extensor carpi ulnaris, iliopsoas, quadriceps, and triceps surae. As an individual response to physiological limitations associated with race pace, water resistance, and swimming speed, the swimmer increased the coordination index between the extremities and breathing.
The methodology followed a quantitative approach, of an applied type and explanatory level, employing a pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test. The population and sample consisted of 34 students, selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. For data collection, the systematic observation technique was used, with a checklist as the instrument featuring a four-level ordinal scale, whose reliability was validated through Cronbach's Alpha (0.84).
The main findings demonstrated a significant shift in technical performance; while in the pre-test 52.9% of the students were at the "Beginning" level, in the post-test 58.8% reached the "Achieved" level and 20.6% the "Outstanding" level. The conclusion was reached that the systematic application of plyometric exercises had a favorable impact on swimming power and coordination. The results validated the hypothesis that jump training outside the water substantially improves the execution of the front crawl stroke.
PROGRAMA “ACUAMAX” PARA MEJORAR LA MOTRICIDAD GRUESA DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DEL 1º DE SECUNDARIA DE LA INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA GÓMEZ ARIAS DÁVILA - TINGO MARÍA, 2024
(Instituto de Educación Superior Pedagógico Privado “Esteban Pavletich”, 2025-11-28) CHINCHON NUÑEZ, JHONY RICHARD; PEZO HIDALDO, REDY
This study was conducted following the guidelines and parameters of the research line and its objective was to determine whether the “ACUAMAX” program promotes gross motor skills in 1st-year secondary school students at the Gómez Arias Dávila Educational Institution in Tingo María, 2024. It is an applied, explanatory study with a pre-experimental design using simple random sampling and a sample of 33 students, which facilitated obtaining valid and reliable results.
Regarding static body control, significant progress was observed after the intervention. The proportion of students at the beginning level decreased from 84.85% to 0%, and 90.91% achieved the expected results, with only 6.06% demonstrating outstanding performance, reflecting improvements in stability, balance, and postural control.
In the dynamic body domain, the results also show progress: the initial level decreased from 87.88% to 0%, while 93.94% reached the expected level and 3.0% achieved outstanding performance. This demonstrates improvements in movement, coordination, and agility.
The results showed that the ACUAMAX program significantly improves the gross motor skills of 7th-grade students at the Gómez Arias Dávila Educational Institution in 2024.
Therefore, it is recommended that this strategy be implemented in all secondary schools, both public and private.

This research aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of basic handball fundamentals in improving body awareness among first-year secondary school students at Educational Institution No. 32492 “Pillco Mozo”, Huánuco, 2023. To achieve this, an applied research study was conducted with an explanatory approach and a pre-experimental design involving a single group. The population studied consisted of 153 students, while the sample comprised 27 first-year secondary school students. Data was collected using observation as the technique and a 12-item rating scale as the instrument, duly validated by experts and with demonstrated reliability. The results show that before the implementation of handball fundamentals, 44.4% of students were at the "Beginning" level and the remaining 55.6% at the "Developing" level. After implementation, 70.4% reached the "Achieved" level in terms of body awareness. It is concluded that basic handball fundamentals are effective in significantly improving body awareness among first-year secondary school students at Educational Institution No. 32492 Pillco Mozo, Huánuco, 2023.
